quote:
I mix decent balanced meals during the week and complete junk on the weekend. Like oatmeal and the cafeteria plate lunch at work. Then pizza, chicken wings, and whatever the hell I want on the weekend, but rarely drink. I've always been lean. The wife gets pissy with me because she has to keep a closer eye on things. I also generally don't eat dinner.
I do fifty push-ups on Tuesday and Thursday and run a little two mile route through my neighborhood Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I do this to stay healthy, not for losing weight
This is me exactly.
Except the rarely drinking part and the exercise part...And the lean part too.

Is it possible the OP has struggled with his weight and it took him quite sometime to conform to a healthy lifestyle? Maybe being strict and not having cheat meals allows him not to feel tempted and which could be a slippery slope.
But, 1 meal isn't going to hurt you, and if you lift it could actually jumpstart more gains.
Order a grilled chicken salad and also enjoy a slice of pizza or two.
