Same thoughts here. Should have been able to take your army and have an epic battle. I'm talking Helm's Deep epic. The more under your command the bigger the army.

Finished the game early today. Great game. Really becomes fun once you are able to brand the enemy.
Spoilers
Fighting your nemesis at the end was great. Hadn't seen mine in a long time. Kinda wish the Tower or Sauron had been fights like the Hammer instead of a sneakfest (hate timed shite, although it was easy as frick) and button pressing surprise.
Still and awesome game though. Assuming they're gonna have a sequel with the ending and reviews this game has got
