I'm OCD about people who attribute non OCD things to OCD.

I will lock my truck door, then stand with the door open and my keys in my hand for sometimes 30-40 seconds going over and over it in my head so that I don't lock my keys in my truck.

Same way about locking doors. I will go back and check multiple times even though I know I locked it. Like, lock the door, walk to my vehicle, turn around, go check, go back to my vehicle, turn around and go check again. I have to force myself to stop sometimes.

I get moderately annoyed by people who misuse the term OCD. One can be afflicted with OCD or have OCD. But one cannot be OCD. It is a medical condition, not a term to describe how a person acts.

When I'm buying groceries I won't pick anything off the shelf that's damaged.

Can't have any dents in my canned goods or any crumpled up cereal boxes.

Well if this qualifies as OCD then, for me, it would be clearing browser history.

I have to count the lane divider lines on the road when I'm driving. I have to. Luckily, I don't have to count the ones that are a different color than when I started. So I've got that going for me; which is nice.

Neither of those are OCDs.

Come back to me when you can't sleep because you are analyzing everything you said that day, making sure you didn't say anything that makes you look like an arse, or you have an inner voice that just destroys you after every minor mistake.

My sideburns have to be perfectly straight/trimmed. I can't stand seeing crooked/bushy sideburns.
