I don't know if this is correct but I thought I heard one of the commentators make the comment that what the Vikings did to slow the Saints O down during these drives was to force Brees to throw from a point that he is a little more uncomfortable throwing from. In other words, if Brees is allowed to set up and throw from a point he's accustomed he can complete 90% of his throws. However if that spot is defended, Brees has to take more time to adjust (which he does very well) and more time to execute the play which leads to a lower completion percentage (like 55%). I thought that was a interesting point. Did you hear that?

Hmm that is interesting. Take away the middle of the field would be my non-expert analysis. Drew doesn't have many 1st looks at the sideline. Colston, Cooks, and Jimmy are almost always in the slot or near the LOS.
