Unfortunately where we stand today it would be great for LSU to go 8-4 with a bowl win to go 9-4 this season. As long as they're able to use all of this freshmen experience to build towards something next season.

Miles had best pull off a miracle because if he only has two sec titles in 10 yeArs along with all his snAfus and huge flaws that's unacceptable. With the per capita talent here, money he makes, and facilities. Saban won two sec titles in his first 4 years at lsu. So asking miles to win 3 in a 10 yeAr span is not u nreasonable with the resources he has had.

You still miss the point.

He is paid 4 million a year to NOT let 8-4 happen.

Would you accept paying 500k for a pinto?

Now can they get to 8-4? I don't know.

NM ST
@Florida
Kentucky
Ole Miss
@Arkansas

Probably your best shot.

Since 2008 we have 1 SEC west title. thE END OF THIS SEASON WILL MARK 7 YEARS, with nearly zero hardware.

Hell, if we want an 8-4, 9-3 coach, I think we could get for a whole lot cheaper than 4 million a year, plus millions for coordinators, for a total staff salary of over 11 million dollars.

However the hole miles has painted himself in and what he needs to do and whAt he actually does are two different animals. I think we will have 3 to 4 losses guaranteed maybe as many as 5.

Yep.
I would take that if the team showed some improvement near the end of the year. Just chalk this up as a fluke year with a young team and move on.

I'm def. not going to go fcking nuts and be a sorry sad sack of shite because LSU is not awesome every year.

8-4 would be overachieving for this team.

i get your point 100 percent. you're trying to say that a monetary number should eliminate any chance of having a mediocre season. well this is football with many variables. that being said i think your point is baseless and flawed.

Yea. Im not against going 2 QB's for a while because harris is the future and he needs to get meaningful snaps but he needs to be protected too. Fournette is our best running back he needs to get 15 carries per game minimum. Dupre needs to be outside receiver with Quinn and Diarse in the slot.

On defense id like to see Teuhema got some playing time at d end. Kwon, Beckwith, and Debo need to be the starting linebackers. Secondary start White/RR/Adams/Mills with DT and Collins playing key roles in nickel and mustang packages. I dont see any help coming for the DT's, i dont see much promise there besides Godchaux.

Apparenly some people would prefer that to a Natty, because it would make us fans too "spoiled."
