We did the Cocodrie shuffle for many years and that is one thing i do not miss. Every time a storm even remotely got close it was a 10 hour ordeal to break everything loose and tow it up to Houma. Not to mention you need to drydock and inspect/clean/paint the bottom every few years. With the family owning a shipyard it wasn't a big deal for us but without those resources at your disposal it would be a hassle not to mention costly.
