10-4. I was just curious because I really want a house boat or one of those condos in the marina one day.

I was down there Thur- Sat last week and didn't have much luck fishing Friday and Saturday with that strong east wind. Talk to a few people who also talked to some guides and not many people did good Friday and Saturday. Best bet would be to fish the West Bank side of the river like Da Hammer said.

I have stayed on many houseboats and they are just something I don't want to fool with. I have young kids and would be very worried about the falling over the side while not watching. Also when a hurricane comes you have to move the houseboat to safety. Just too much involved with this. With a camp you can insure it, if it blows away, floats away file claim put a new one there since you own the land. Also slip rentals in Venice marina have gotten to be highway robbery.

THe condos aren't a bad idea but no land and a few other negatives. I am happy to be where we are...
