Why are these mutually exclusive?

I never said they were. I just said I would prefer to win games than just score points.

Last year LSU broke all kinds of records on offense - and went 10-3.

Was losing to Ole Miss last year really all that better than they way they lost to State this year?

In the end it was a loss. But if you want to look at the process and the way we lost, yes the Ole Miss game was better. We shot ourselves in the foot in that game with poor decisions from Mett and weren't completely dominated on BOTH sides of the ball. This game for almost the entire game, it was the definition of insanity

no, it wasn't better. but it was different.

I will say I always felt we would come back in the game last year, even down 17-0.

getting down this past saturday was a helpless feeling.

Yes, i understand the personnel that we have dictates the feeling. But there seemed to be a lack of a sense of urgency on offense. I didn't feel that kick in until Harris was brought in to run the 2 minute offense.

I'm not advocating a 2 minute offense, or even a spread offense.

I would, however, like to see a more wide open attack, which would help out your run game alot more.
