its not the 1970s anymore Les. 3 yds and a cloud of dust doesn't work anymore. Hell even saban and bama have gone more spread.

3 yards and a cloud of dust has won more games for LSU than in any other time in it's history.
3 yards and a cloud of dust had us undefeated in the 2011 regular season even with poor QB play.
It may not be working right now, with these players, at this stage in their careers, but it can work when they are comfortable and experienced.

LSU can win with this playbook yes....but they probably won't. LSU can win with spreading out people too...our chances being much higher than current playbook.
Point is...why make it harder on yourself? It's called evolution and at some point Miles better unless he would rather lose more games than he wins.
