OL has taken a big step back. I was stupid enough to think that Wisconsin had created some brilliant scheme with no front seven guys returning and undersized to make our great OL look bad. The perplexing deal is the same guys looked pretty good last year. I'll throw in the TEs as well and Connor, they all were fairly consistent blockers. This Grimes deal looks as bad as the Malveto situation in 2008. Mostly the same guys going from good to crap. Remember Lou Tepper. I realize that Mett had more respect than our current QBs but this fall off is extreme and the only answer is Grimes.

I believe the DEs on LSU are not that bad...yes we have had better deeper DEs, but the DTs from the 2013 class are killing us.When you see the replay from behind the O backfield on Gordon run and Daks, it is embarrassing. I could have got 40 yards through those holes and I'm way past my prime

I had forgotten everyone on TD runs sub 4.3 and would have played in the nfl if they hadn't gotten hurt in high school. Thanks.

His scheme calls for leaner, more athletic lineman and not 340lbs like Vadal. This was mentioned during the early days of his hiring. Once these guys are gone and his guys are in, you'll see a difference.
