I owned 2K14 from day 1. But as the case with all games, the more I played it the more the glaring issues reared their ugly heads. The game became dull and boring. I hate offline game modes, and the Park never functioned properly with the constant disconnecting, etc. My Team was a pay to play game. so there wasn't much to be desired. Once you made it to the NBA starting lineup and got past your rookie season, there wasn't much else to do.

Hart you actually summed up 2k and the show for me. Once I made it to starter I was pretty much done.
I like both games but I no longer own a Playstation so i will probably wait and see what the consensus is on the 2k games (basketball and wraslin). I think I am done preordering..... Well except for maybe dragon Age.... and shadows of Mordor..... Dang it!
