The massive veal cutlet (along with the Salisbury steak and onion rings) are the few holdovers from the pre-K College Inn.
Wife (no pics) & I split the cutlet just about every time we go(14 bucks...comes with mashed potatoes w/ gravy and spinach). Mix in a different app often.
My grandparents went to College Inn 3-4 nights a week for 40 years, I miss those big arse bread rolls...the Blanchers have refined the cuisine well, but I still crave those pre-K staples.
Sorry to get nostalgic for a bit...fried oysters, CFS, and specials are usually all good. But I can rarely sit at that bar without ordering onion rings and buying Cartwright a beer...
