W @ Dallas

W vs. Buccaneers

L @ Lions

W vs. Packers

W @ Panthers

W vs. 49'ers

W vs. Bengals

W vs. Ravens

L @ Steelers

W vs. Panthers

W @ Bears

W vs. Falcons

W @ Buccaneers

We sweep the Bucs and Panthers, split with the Falcons. We get lucky and have to face cold weather teams in the Dome, except for Pittsburgh.

That puts us at 12-4 on the season. shite, 10-6 would be a miracle considering starting 0-2. But I think this team is correcting itself here and they'll put together a run of some sort and find themselves in the playoffs.

*DISCLAIMER: This is not a scientific egghead thread. I'm not an expert and I can't even pretend to play one on the internet.

Edited to change Panthers to a sweep with their entire RB corps out due to injury.

Has a team ever gone undefeated at home for two consecutive seasons?

I'm confident getting Detroit after a bye week. We've been great in that situation

I think best case scenario is 10-6 unless we improve drastically...which could happen.

Personally I think:

W @ Dallas
W vs. Buccaneers
BYE
W @ Lions
W vs. Packers
W @ Panthers
W vs. 49'ers
W vs. Bengals
W vs. Ravens
L @ Steelers
W vs. Panthers
L @ Bears
W vs. Falcons
W @ Buccaneers

We always play shitey against the Steelers and Bears on their turf, especially in the cold weather. However, it's worth noting that we are 26-0 under Payton when not committing a turnover. Now, I guarantee the majority of these wins (prob 70%) came at home, but that's still saying something about this team under Payton. Once we get back Ingram and if we can still have a good, consistent run game, I think we should be able to fair well against those cold road games. If not, we are in for a shite show.

Sadly this puts us at 8-8, which after watching this team for 3 games I believe we are. I don't know what's wrong but there is just something off about this team.

Maybe they let all the preseason hype and super bowl picks get to them? Not sure.

I'm less than confident we will beat the Cowboys. I'm sensing a loss in fact.

You believe the Saints are going to beat the Bengals? That's not even so much of a knock on NO as it is high praise for CIN.
Looking at both teams through 3 games, Cincy will beat NO by 17+ in that game.

I do believe that every other game besides CIN that you have listed as a W, is winnable.

i don't see how people are thinking we magically turn this season around from what has been observed these first three games

Because the Saints haven't been thrashed yet. Both their L's were close. That's being the optimist. There are some very troublesome things about NO though but EVERY team can say that about themselves. No one looks unbeatable this year.
