It alienates people with any taste in music.

"I'm from Louisiana" doesn't alienate anyone. But if you call it The Boot, well, then things get a little prickly.

Those songs are played in every NFL and college stadium, so they are played out. The B**** I'm from Louisiana is unique to LSU because it is about being from this great state. Similar to LA Saturday Night and Callin Baton Rouge.
Playing stuff like sandstorm, Thunderstruck, etc... is generic and lame.
