Thank god there's no chance of re-signing him. Now we can practically gaurantee ourselves a win whenever he pitches against us.

Please forgive my hatred for him, as he is the pitcher who delivered me my first loss while attending a game at Turner Field in my 29 years of existence. I believe it was my 14th game that I went to when he pitched in the day game against the Phillies and lost.

Here's to you Harang:

Braves signed Josh Outman today. I think zero cares are given at this point...

Atlanta Braves @Braves
The #Braves have acquired LHP Ricardo Sanchez from the Los Angeles Angels in exchange for RHP Nate Hyatt and INF Kyle Kubitza.

Atlanta Braves @Braves
Sanchez, 17, made 12 apps (9 starts) in 2014 for the Arizona League Angels and went 2-2 with a 3.49 ERA while fanning 43 batters. #Braves

Atlanta Braves @Braves
Entering 2015, Sanchez has been named as the second-best prospect in the Angels organization by Baseball America. #Braves

Mark Bowman @mlbbowman
The #Braves will be getting LHP Ricardo Sanchez from the Angels for three Minor Leaguers. Sanchez is a highly-regarded 17 yr. old prospect

That's how I feel.. Instead of the dunno, it's more of a shoulder shrug.

I don't mind the move at all. The 17 year old seems to have high upside. The two guys we gave up are both 24. They were solid guys though. The Angels were pretty high on 3B Kubitza

Sanchez is an high upside arm. He is only 17, and has a very long way to go. If everything turns out, he wont even sniff Atlanta til at least 2019. He was the Angels #2 or #3 prospect because they have one of the two worst systems in baseball. Id probably have him somewhere around #10 in our system.

I actually liked Kubitza. I really thought that he would be the starting third baseman by the end of this season. He gets on base like crazy. He has no power, and he strikes out a good bit, but he just knows how to get on base. He has done it at every level that he has been at. He also has descent wheels. He will definitely make an impact in Anaheim, and it will probably happen this year.

Hyatt was a throw in, but he has potential to be a nice pen arm in the majors, so its a nice throw in for LA.

Overall, I like the trade, but I dont love it. Sanchez is just so far away from even being considered a potential ML player, and Kubitza could have been our starter at third this season.

We will not compete until 2017, so I like it.

I am not a big Kubitza fan.

I like what the Braves are doing. Going the traditional rout like they have been doing might get them in the playoffs once every 3 or 4 years but they can never advance once they get there.

They saw what the KC Royals did this year and how they did it. I don't think Cox clone Fredi G is the answer at manager though.

I really feel like we are just letting Fredi manage the mediocre team until 2017 when we open the new stadium. Fredi will be the guy to turn out the lights at Turner and we will bring a new team, and a new coach to the new field.

Fredi is a hell of a manager, we'll see that this coming season when his skills will be displayed with a young, hungry team. The cancer is gone.
