I don't believe Abraham would approve of any harm coming to Katrina however I can't envision a plot twist that has the headless horseman aligning with Ichabod Crane.

I can see Abraham temporarily aligning with Ichy to find a cure for Katrina. He'd do anything for her.
A situation like that could lead Katrina to begin to rekindle her feelings for Abraham.
