re: Help me with a chainsaw purchasing decision

I'd love one. But my 'to-buy' list for the new house keeps growing and trying to cut costs where I can, not at the cost of something quality though. I have a chainsaw that you guys would laugh at, but it was the only thing I could find 2 days after Katrina hit. I've never really needed anything more than it, until now. I've used it a little at our lot, but it's just a pain more than anything.
