The Season Finale of Season 3, is for me, the single greatest season finale of any show ever. "The snake in the mailbox" for that episode is legendary.

Just met the crazy bitch that kidnapped Sayid. So there's a rope going into the ocean that's on the island. There's no way those car batteries have enough juice to sustain that much electricity in that bunker. WTF is going on

I loved Lost. I don't regret watching the series, but I was unhappy at the end. I don't think I will ever be able to watch it again. That said, might be the most fun I've ever had watching a show.

Had I known it would end the way it did, I wish I had never watched it. For me, it tailed off towards the end.

And in my opinion, the final episode is the best in the series. People are really divided on the final episode, in that it's either the best ending possible or the worst, and I'd say a very sizable portion of the people who think it was the worst completely missed the point of it.

Holy shite you have moved through it. Think it took me 4 days to finish the first season of LOST, but you're well beyond that.
I am curious on what you think of Sawyer. Personally, I completely despised him until his second flashback episode. I just thought he was a ruthless dick for no reason, but that flashback completely explains his actions on the island, and basically instantly turned him into my favorite character after Locke. Plus the run-in in the bar was just fantastically done. Have to say that that is still one of my favorite episodes.

As much of a dick he's been why didn't he just tell Jack what his dad told him? And I still don't really like him because at this point he's being a dick just to be a dick. They ask him to help rebuild the raft and he just ignores them and walks away.

Because Sawyer sees that murdering an innocent is so despicable that he shouldn't have any appreciation whatsoever. Sawyer is deliberately making himself miserable for murdering a guy in cold blood. All of Sawyer's actions are in effort to be as loathed as much as possible, and thus making himself miserable. Telling Jack that would give Jack some appreciation of Sawyer, and that's why he doesn't tell him. He sees this as his punishment and think it's deserved.
