disagree... maybe a younger gordon who isn't as sloppy... the latest stuff i've heard from mike gordon is mailed in, rehashed lines from earlier songs. TDB bassist blows him out of the water with groove and pocket playing. Plus TDB bassist uses finger and pick where gordon uses the pick on all songs. i think that's a crutch for him. I think when bassists rely solely on plectum (pick) playing, they are limiting themselves on what the song calls for, for tone and style.

bro, did you even listein to Overstep?
it is just as good, if not better than Fuego..
do me a favor, sit down one day, hit ya a dab of Blue Dream and listein to Ether,, it is probably one of the best songs Mike has ever done imo
