2 questions... Honest questions
1) What about the other months? Were the other months consistently higher or were they lower than average? Just wondering if it was consistent amongst all months or just Aug
2) If this is all record breaking heat, why is there more arctic ice than ever? Is it the "hot" places are getting hotter and the "cold" places are getting colder

Hint: Exactly one (1) month this year has featured more arctic ice than last year. Guess which one.
