On a side note:
In 07, on the Friday before the game in Lexington, we were partaking in the Keeneland parking lot during the races and had that call on repeat and cranked loud. Passers by seemed a bit displeased.

I tuned in over the internet because JP had a double header, and was showing Arkansas blowing out USCe. I remember hearing the dejection in Hawthorne's voice as well as the play started. He said that Marcus Randall had heaved the ball downfield, and it seemed to take forever for the inevitable INT or batt down call to come across.
Then I just remember garbled screaming (2002 = dial up), Jack Hunt, and Tigers Win! We switched over to ESPN just as they were breaking away to show the replay.
As happy as I was, the Jack Hunt call is what stuck in my mind. To this day, any time someone brings up Jim Hawthorne, either my wife or I yell out "Jack Hunt." He may not be a great announcer, but he's ours. A Tiger through and through.
