Plenty in those threads say they do. They dont though. If they were really as good as they say they are, they would be in Vegas being the next Billy Walters.
Now if someone could just get PJ to submit picks every week, you can probably bankrupt most of the books in Vegas.

Not exactly. Many may very well have success betting $20 per game recreationally. That doesn't mean they're packing their shite and moving to Vegas.

Not really. I'm up since I started sports betting 4 years ago. However, amounts wagered are small enough to where my overall winnings are largely insignificant. I would have nowhere near enough confidence in myself to take it up as a career at this point or start betting significant sums of money.
It's really not overly difficult to pick winners at a good enough percentage to profit long-term if betting properly. Most people lose money because they improperly bet amounts, bet for action, start betting more games because they had a good day yesterday, etc.
