Seriously, though, the west side is awesome, and outside of the gridlock bullshite on 290, you avoid a lot of the really deep shite. Plus, the drive to the Woodlands isn't that bad from the west side.

I'm a big fan of the Woodlands, though. Growing up, my dad lived out in Cypress, and I was a member of The Woodlands. I used to drive out there during the Summer when I was off of school and play the Palmer Course and whatnot a few times a week during my stay.

Now that I'm an adult, I realize how spoiled I was on the course. Being able to call ahead for a tee time, walk in, charge food to the account, and have free tees and range balls before I played. I'd kill for that shite now!

I'm across 290 from you in Stonegate. I'm kicking around the idea of moving to The Woodlands just because our office is over there. As long as I keep working from home 3-4 days a week, I may just stick it out here though.
