Completely agree with this as well. You used to watch athletes who were so ingrained into their characters they were almost real. They went off the cuff and sold themselves.
If you watch Brett Hart's documentary you see how upset he was when his character changed and how he begged for input on his story lines. The guy's today, not totally their fault, just seem to be playing a role instead of living it.
Now it's athletes reciting lines and played out bullshite stories. And stupid fights that mean nothing.
