Interesting idea. The buildup to title matches is way too repetitive these days. The challenger seems to beat the champ in a nontitle match or in a tag match before the PPV. Instead of building interest toward the match, they're basically killing the payoff for the feud before the feud ends. I remember when flair or hogan wrestled on free TV, it was a big deal, even if the opponent was George South.
They are kind of bringing back this element, albeit out of necessity due to Lesnar's contract.
