Need help identifying this spider -- found it by my front door

Its body is about the size of a quarter.

That's the Love spider. Their venom is an aphrodisiac and makes you last for hours, hence the red hour glass.

I brought some firewood back home from the camp a few weeks ago and evidently brought home these guys too. So far I've killed 3 female black widows and a brown widow. Not cool at all.

Ah, the beautiful Latrodectus mactans, or Southern black widow. An interesting fact about the female specimen that you posted. A female black widow spider can produce four to nine egg sacs in one summer, each containing about 100–400 eggs. Usually, eggs incubate for twenty to thirty days.
