The media acts like just because some attention whore jackass calls a press conference they are OBLIGATED to attend.

If you ignore them they will go away.

This is just another circle jerk from the media and a media made celebrity and I'm fricking sick of it.

They send someone to cover it because everyone else is doing it. They won't just stop covering these pressers in case there's actually one worth a shite that happens.

The reporters completely ripping her apart for the bullshite she's trying to sell is a new angle, though. The media outlets need to encourage this kind of thing so that the Allred contingent out there knows they will end up looking like idiots if they're trying to pull a scam.

Yeah Brandon Marshall got diagnosed and has done a lot to turn his life around and raise money for mental illness. This is a money grab.

Yep

This is absolute horseshite. I feel bad for Brandon Marshall. That E:60 last night showed he is an intelligent guy that realized he needed treatment and has since turned his life around.

frick this whore woman.

his reaction to the E:60 segment suggests otherwise. By all accounts it made him look good

What was his reaction? I missed that.

The segment certainly made me respect him. Definitely came off intelligent, apologetic, and changed for the better.

He said ESPN lied to him about what they would air. He wanted the focus to be on his organization.

It looks like ESPN totally lied to him about what the story was about. I can understand his frustration in that case.

let's cut the shite. He wanted them to focus only on the new and improved Brandon Marshall without acknowledging the old one

Again, that piece was as favorable as could be by all accounts, and he was pissed...I'm only saying I don't think he's intelligent.

I think he is more pissed off that they assumed he was an idiot who would let this slide. Yes they covered a positive side if him, but why in the hell did they feel the need to lie about what story they were covering.

Reminds me of The Fighter, when they film Christian Bale's comeback, but they are actually doing a documentary on heroine addiction, except in this case the story they did show was a good one. Why lie to Marshall?

1. I have a pretty low opinion of ESPN and I don't believe for one second they lied, or at the very least intended to. Sometimes the story changes with the footage you got.

2. If they did assume he was an idiot, I believe they assumed correctly.

They way i understand it, he thought it was going to showcase more of his recent turnaround, as they had filmed some more stuff since the initial broadcast. but ended up just being the same piece that aired a year or so ago.

precisely, hey everyone knows what a piece of shite I was, can we just pretend that didn't happen and only show how fricking awesome I am? Above all else I want to look good.

If Jay Cutler says he's changed, I believe it. Cutler is not the type of guy who says what you tell him to say.
