He looked pretty good in the two preseason games he played in.
The Ravens were stupid to cut him.
The majority of Ravens fans didn't want him cut.
I doubt anyone from Minnesota wants them to cut AP, and if they do, the Cowboys would pick him up in a second.
Quit worrying about what the idiot media and womens rights groups think.

Since when do fans make personnel decisions? Hell, Falcons fans were still wearing Micheal Vick jerseys.

Has nothing to do with this thread.

I worry about my own opinion. My opinion is he's a washed up has been that has taken too many hits, and viciously beat his fiance in an elevator and dragged her out by her hair.

He wasn't injured last year, and he showed a troubling lack of ability to cause missed tackles, and was usually taken down by the first hit. Bernard Pierce is better at this point in their careers.

I disagree with this completely. I wouldn't be surprised to see his suspension lifted at any moment. He suspended for 2 games. I don't think the CBA allows the nfl to add to that suspension. It is not Rice's fault that Goodell didn't see the tape or take public outcry into account before handing down the original punishment.

Suspension doesn't even matter anymore. No team will touch him with a ten foot pole this season

Not immediately but if he still has anything in the tank he'll be back in the league.

Thing is with him he was sucking before all of this happened.

Which is exactly what I said in the same post you quoted

Michael Vick, PacMan Jones, Donte Stalworth, and many others disagree.

I wouldn't take much stock into a bleacher report article. When they aren't ripping of ESPN articles their breaking fake BS stories that are never true.

They came back in the same year? Does anybody read a whole post anymore?

To be clear: Rice will not play this year, suspension or not. Once things cool down a little bit someone will most likely take him.

Except for the fact that he averaged 7 YPC in the preseason and had his old lateral movement and agility back based on those few games. I really rice was really due to rebound. He looked good in the little bit of 2014 I saw.

I disagree vehemently.

I understand sports are an escape from reality and are a form of entertainment, but the NFL has grown so large and powerful that it cannot ignore the wrongdoings of its players. By saying and doing nothing, the NFL essentially is supporting this type of behavior. The silence is deafening, so to speak.

No one expects the NFL and its players to be angels, but as a fan I've got no problem with the NFL taking a stand on domestic violence and child abuse. I want to see the best 22 players on the field, but I would prefer that the abusers are left at home.

Completely disagree. I'm paying the player to do a job. The player is doing their job. It's not my place to punish you. That's law enforcements job. Now if the team doesn't like how he's acting and wants to get rid of him but other teams can take him if they choose. I don't think it's the NFL's place to deal out punishments.
