I respect John Kennedy, because you seem to know exactly where he stands on the issues especially over the last few years. He seems to say what needs to be said, damn the consequences or who he upsets.
That having been said, I'm not necessairly sure he's suited for any office above the one he holds.
Also, everything I've read and heard about Jim Donelon is impressive.

Jindal has clearly checked out and as such my opinion of him has waned, but still think he is leaving the state in a much better shape then when he found it.
Dardenne-really like him. Thoughtful guy.
Kennedy- Very smart, but purposefully misrepresents issues to gain political traction. That drives me nuts.
Strain- Good guy and has really straightened up a broken department
Schedler- competent
