Really? I guess I'm just naïve. Judging by the down votes on my post.
I doubt our troops will be on the front lines
mixing it up with ebola in the jungle. It's humanitarian. I'm not a political junkie, but I'm going to guess the one against military use here are the one who hand wring about the US "losing superpower status". It's things like this that make 3rd world countries actually LIKE and respect America. In Africa, the US remains overwhelmingly popular. One of the few places where that is the case. If we won't help, I'm sure the Chinese would. For their own reasons of course.
