re: Whats your latest "just for fun" purchase?

Bought a Kawasaki KX250 2stroke dirt bike that needed a top end. I never did that before, wanted to make it a project, and am messing around with it now. Want to see if I can get her to run and spend minimum $ to do so. I paid $200 for it, have $300 in it now for a sleeve and piston, rings kit and another $100 for brake pads, and a used rear brake caliper, clutch lever and perch, and some grips. So, possibly with $600 total expenditure, it is a good bike. I'll ride it some and toss it out there for sale.
