Honestly, if a black kid steals my phone they can keep it. I can lock it down and get a new one. I'm not really interested in being another unwilling participant in the knockout game.

Most lib-progs I know IRL wouldn't believe the kid took her phone. They would believe that he was an unfortunate victim of profiling and he was framed as a way for private prisons to make money.
