L.A.'s my hometown, and I'm sorry to say it, but none of the places you listed are places everyone wants to live. On the other hand, this might mean slightly less insane housing prices than other areas. Maybe live east of RC and commute there to work.

I also know a nice house for sale: $1.5 mil, on the coast, maybe 45 minutes from South Gate. Working in South Gate, though …
