Right, it was mostly a fallout from the reconquista of the Iberian peninsula.

And if you think that it was ok with the Catholic laity that those terrible crimes were committed, then you are horribly mistaken.
Whereas the dogma of Islam excuses all sorts of things such as forced conversion, death if one converts to another religion, and the fact that it's ok to rape a non-Muslim woman.

Beulah good one but to say these were not Catholics killing Jews and Muslims is off base. Thats like saying ISIS isn't Muslim based.
