Why not use games like ULM to break tendancies and work on the passing game? If ULM is stuffing 9 men in the box, why did we insist on running into that brick wall? The entire SEC knows that Les is not going to throw the ball until he absolutely has to, and it badly hurts our running game. The 2012 @ Florida game was a perfect example. That Florida team was not better than LSU, but they had a good punter pinning us deep, and Les refused to open up running lanes by passing the ball. About our only passing answer was throwing quick slants, but that does nothing to deter teams from stacking the box. If looking at 2013, we had much bigger running lanes because we were willing to throw the ball on early downs and thus teams were not as committed to jamming the box.

This is what scares me about top sec teams having the depth not like ULM, SHS,UW. It's frustrating to watch but it has gotten victories.
