I won't ever have one because I'm not in that lifestyle but the only way to make it work would be to to make a huge trip or two or three in it, as in months gone per trip at a time.

Otherwise it is a fiscal loser.

If you are independently wealthy then knock yourself out. Otherwise rent an RV.
