Who has earned their paycheck? They're paid to win, not just show up. They haven't won, so no one earned it.

No one on that defense has earned a single dime. Basically stealing money for 9 years straight now.

He was a ball hawk in Buffalo b/c they could get pressure on the QB and he was able to sit back and play center field. Not very good at covering a receiver for a period of time.

I don't get why the CBs aren't playing press and Vaccaro isn't near the LOS with Byrd playing single high. I mean that's what I thought the whole point of brining him here was

When Byrd is motivated...he's an all-pro no doubt...if the Saints struggle though, some injuries start coming that just can't seem to heal. It's weird how that happens. While I don' think any defense gets "better" when losing a player like Byrd, Byrd leaving Buffalo seems like a blessing in disguise right now as it opened up money for Spikes and Corey Graham..and Corey Graham has been absolutely outstanding for us.

That's a big # for Byrd to live up to and I dont think Ryan is putting him in position to succeed yet...and hope Ryan does it before Byrd decides its break time

Is he playing CB or Safety?

Because CBs are the problem

He's had some good plays here and there, and randomly came up with a ball somehow that was just ignored by the refs, but it hasn't been overwhelming.

Hard to say how much of it is him and how much is just the crappy play of his teammates.
