It's amazing, looking back, how incestual the old money, powerful families were.

lol, they were fifth cousins. I wouldn't exactly call that incest.
TR really had a bloodlust for war. The fact that he was proud of the high casualty rates in his unit in the Spanish-American War wouldn't go over well with the 2014 public. I can't say I agree with his imperialistic tendencies. However, his ideas weren't exactly unique considering the time period.
