The best thing about deleting a diesel is getting rid of the piece of crap DEF system. DEF systems have left me stranded on the side of the road at least 10 times, I kind if lost count. This was in 6 different trucks from 2 different companies on 2 different sides of the country. DEF sucks everywhere.

I truly don't get this, how can anyone even have that happen? The Fords give a 500 miles until empty warning on the DEF before going into limp mode. I'd assume others do the exact same thing. I fill mine up with fluid about once every 4-6 months out of precaution at the truck stop for about $2.65 a gallon and have only had my "500 miles until def empty" warning come on once in 41,000 miles.

It's not about running out of fluid. It's about the system constantly getting clogged and fricking up. They hardly ever ever work like they are supposed to.
