Every single mission is go this point, let Dinklebot scan stuff while you fight off waves of enemies, go to next point, backtrack through places you've already been, he unlocks more doors, more waves, final big boss who is a bullet sponge. I'm not saying you have to redefine the whole genre, but some variety would have been nice.
