Glad I'm not the only one who thought they sounded exactly like pod racers.
It really would've been cool and would've motivated people to actually waste rare items updating the speed of their bikes.

I think all that stuff( pod racing and ship bonuses and more ) is still on the table. Think most posters in this thread are looking at the game like it's a finished product. I am of the opinion that bungie has only laid the foundation

Agreed. They have to have some type of plan for that in the future. If noT, what is the point of even giving the bikes stats in the first place?
That is really what is most frustrating about this game. There is so much that makes it look like something will be a part of the game, and then it just is left out. Maybe the DLC and future released content will have it, but who knows at this point. I don't want to have to keep paying for common sense improvements for the game.
I really just want to go back to the Reef and hang out. We go there twice. Story line over

Well, they should've filled in some of the cracks in the foundation before releasing it.
They are losing a lot of unsatisfied customers.

See my above post.
This is the difference between dlc and an xpac
The destiny xpacs will not be like COD mapacks...I think they will be more like WoW xpacs that adds new mechanics and features and game modes...Atleast this poster HOPES that's the case

So this is a $60 kickstarter?
PC envy.

That is what I'm assuming, but that still leaves your gamers in a shitty position. You deliver a very underwhelming game with serious story issues, and they have to hope that you will release additional content to make it better.
Like Scruffy said, they should have at least had a couple different missions, like a race. Every single mission is go this point, let Dinklebot scan stuff while you fight off waves of enemies, go to next point, backtrack through places you've already been, he unlocks more doors, more waves, final big boss who is a bullet sponge. I'm not saying you have to redefine the whole genre, but some variety would have been nice.

I was torn between 343 Dinkle Spark and Dinklebot.
I think Dinklebot wins though.

Watched the Van Ord's review on Gamespot?

343 Dinkle Spark is awesome.
I'm going with that one.

We get it, I made some good points

I think you made some good points, but there was a lack of variety.

One thing that is disappointing is for a social games this can honestly feel less social than the original Halo titles. I'm not sure if it is the games fault or just how gamers are today.
Me and one of my friends have been playing the lvl 24 strike playlist and we keep inviting the 3rd person to our party and no one joins.
I also wish they made the multiplayer more customizable. Maybe you could make a racing style game like you eventually good in forge. Some of my fondest memories of Halo are playing custom game types and the later one custom made mades. They seem to have taken out all of those elements.

This is a concern of mine. If they fail to deliver in the base game and want to add content through DLC, I'm not giving them a dime.
