This board wants Harris to look better than Jennings so bad, posters are taking sub categories that actually mean nothing and tossing those numbers around. I've never heard of RAT until now.

This board will always find some way or another to make their argument seem legit as if the sub category of a sub category of a sub category is relevant.

You have noticed that we have only 2 credible options for quarterback and they are dual-threat and subject to injury, meaning at any moment we have only one if one gets nicked, in trouble, out for the season, or has a serious TD Travin car wreck. It was kind of blind to sit on a 5th yr JUCO, Mett, and not have a solid group of trained QBs like Baylor, A&M, OR, OSU, Auburn, Bama, FSU, OU, etc. The problem is that the HUNH air raid spread option offenses are recruiting magnets because they are winning and the top Div 4 & 5 HS programs are all spread option HUNH and they want to play for programs that highlight their offensive skills. It is a trickle up effect all the way to the top NFL programs like Seattle with Pete Carroll running a West Coast spread offense, even the Saints are running 5 WRs. So the majority see their best shot at the NFL going through HUNH programs so Sumlin and Spavital (29 yrs old) and Briles are likely targets for NFL jobs this next yr.

RAT is short for Rating as in Passer Rating circa 1973. Surely you look at stats in Box Scores and move the cursor over the headings to get a definition of the column.

Jennings has his moments and strengths and chemistry with TD Travin and Diarse who is my favorite team player. Harris and Dupre were born on the same day and they practiced that reflex fade route and Harris and Fournette are roomates like Dural and Jennings. So their are strengths to be recognized. Harris has touch and good arm strength and spreads the ball around. I am watching the other games and the top SEC West teams are better than ever. I don't understand anointing anyone just because they had seniority. 7 out of the last nine BCS Champions were freshman or first yr starters. I like watching them both play and think they should be rotated like the backs, line, and special teams, but when they come in it would be nice to see them run a package of plays and not both stand around staring at the sideline waiting on a play. There needs to be more pace.
