I meant to start this before week 1 (but I do not think that much has changed outside of Rice and maybe Gordon), but I always the term RB1 and WR1 thrown around on here and not always with much thought.

For this thread, assume it is a 12-team league, so RB1 = top 12 backs and WR1 = top 12 wideouts. I am doing this as a PPR. If you are in a standard league, then write standard.

Obviously, a lot of can happen and I expect some surprises, but this is how I valued these players preseason.

RB

1. Charles
2. Peterson
3. McCoy
4. Forte
5. Lacy
6. Ball
7. Murray
8. Lynch
9. Foster
10. Ray Rice lol
11. Gio
12. Jennings

WR

1. Calvin
2. Demaryius
3. Dez
4. AJ Green
5. Marshall
6. Julio
7. Jordy
8. Alshon
9. Brown
10. Andre
11. Cobb
12. Roddy

If I assumed Gordon would play 14 games again (like last year, then I had him between Jordy and Alshon).

Nothing really crazy outside of Jennings sneaking in as RB1. I liked Bush a lot as well. Also, I think Mike Wallace and maybe even Patterson (homer alert) could flirt with WR1 territory.

I think you're spot on but I would put a healthy Murray and Foster ahead of Ball. Other than that great list.

My rankings were pretty spot on to yours.

I had Le'veon Bell on same tier as Murray and Foster.

I also had Antonio brown in same tier as Dez, Green, and DT88. Probably due to owning him last year. You can pencil him in for 12-15 point floor each week with potential for a 30 burger.
