Those are political maneuvers and deceptions. This is a basic denial of reality, the world around us, and history.. He may as well have said the ocean wasn't salty.

And how is that considered the "biggest lie" when it literally has zero impact on ANYTHING?

The course of American history was not affected one iota.

I agree with you in a sense. Of course it depends on whose definition of innocents you use. If you're using the definition of the religion itself then his statement might be accurate.
