The road was widened to help traffic flow. Dropping the speed limit on it so low is contrary to why the road was expanded in the first place.

I'm glad they are lowering it.
People are going 55+ between Highland and Perkins. If they don't want to send police out there to radar, then lowering it is the next option.
They could make a fortune every morning on that stretch if they decided to run radar.
