due to the bullet wounds it's not likely, but it could have happened

i do not think the brains came out, though, nor would they with a shot to the top of the head like that

Because there are entry wounds to his side which were caused by the bullet/bullets exiting the arm (ricoshet) The evidence of the autopsy does not support his arms being raised, it does the opposite.
