Okay, if the Cop was wrong, it should come out in the investigation. Does this justify looting? Will the Justice Dept go after the "citizens" who destroyed businesses, some owned by minorities?

A government which kills its citizens with little provocation and with what is viewed as no recourse or redress for the citizens is pretty close to what justifies a violent, lawless response. I'm not at that point, but I could see how some would be.

Of course not but maybe if this was handled better from the start that looting wouldn't have happened. there's a similar case right now in Milwaukee and there has been no looting.
