Law states that a school can limit freedom of speech if it goes against the schools values, or if it promotes or inhibits derogatory remarks that can hinder the name of the university.

This isn't a freed of speech issue. It is an LSU officially recognized organization , on LSUs campus.

LSU has the legal right, and frankly, a moral obligation to stop these signs.

Yea, my whole point was that they weren't able to do it before because DKE actually owned the land their house was on, and now they don't

Yes, you are right...those with the money generally make the rulez...apparently the DKE's were of the mind that "rulez are there to be broken"...now that the money has spoken, the DKE's have no choice but to follow said rulez...
