Agreed. The whim of The State is sacrosanct. Especially when there is evidence that the Speech in question dissents from prevailing norms. I've never been sure why people don't get that.

LSU is not the state. They are the landowners in this scenario and they get to make the rules just like your parents get to make the rules for you when you lived at home.
