Just because there are young families, like 40- 50 year old parents, doesn't make them new money.

Why in the frick is "new money" an insult anyway? Isn't that just a synonym for "earned it?"

I feel like people in this thread do not understand what constitutes new money vs old money.

OM has a decent amount of new money families for sure. There's still a lot of the old money crew there but I know quite a few successful doctors, lawyers, engineers, accountants, etc. who live in OM who came from either humble or middle class upbringings.
